Marion County Chamber Ambasador Club

The Jefferson Ambassador Club is being re-born!
Leading the effort are Chamber Board Member Doug Thompson.
Member Captains are, Peggy Walker and Robert Wooley.

The Goals and Duties of an Ambassador include:

  • Welcome new Chamber members by attending ribbon cuttings
  • Serve as greeters at Chamber networking events and in the Chamber office
  • Serve as guiding Ambassadors downtown during busy weekends
  • Handle the Welcome Wagon Program calling on possible new members
  • Network with and support existing Chamber members

Benefits of serving with the Chamber’s Jefferson Ambassador Club Program include:

  • Receive a vest and name tag identifying you as an Ambassador
  • Earn rewards and awards based on the level of participation

Anyone interested in participating needs to know that the Marion County Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassadors are a prestigious group of volunteers who will provide membership mentoring to new and existing Chamber members and assist the Chamber staff with assuring that Chamber stakeholders are receiving their return on membership. Ambassadors enjoy the rewards of making new contacts, strengthening relationships and accessing a wealth of information and resources.
