For everyone who would like to help our sweet Mary Spearmon, the Jefferson Lions Club has set up a fund to help her with the total loss of her home in last night’s tornado. If you would like to contribute, you can take your donation to any VeraBank location and tell them the deposit is for the MARY SPEARMON FUND. She, along with her husband, daughter, and three grandchildren, lost everything except the clothes they were wearing.
Mary is an amazingly dedicated community volunteer. She is a Member of Jefferson Lions Club, serves on the Marion County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, is president of the Marion County Diversified Civic and Social Concerns Organizaton, member of The Women of Jefferson Organization, former Jefferson Citizen of the Year, former East Texas Regional Citizen of the Year, and a loving, caring friend to every person she meets.
